Jamie Dunn, LMHC, LPC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor

Jamie Dunn is a licensed mental health provider with over 19 years of experience in the mental health field. Jamie found her passion for using evidence-based treatment modalities of anxiety, depression, and related disorders while working at Rogers Behavioral Health in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin in 2006. In therapy, she aims to help individuals to break down obstacles into more manageable pieces. Jamie believes that by taking things one step at a time, it’s possible to set yourself up for success to better manage uncertainties, challenges, and stressors. Her aim in therapy is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to take risks and build more confidence. She wants to help others to live a more authentic life that is in line with their goals and values.

She specializes in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, health illness/anxiety disorders, and perfectionism, as well as body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs). Jamie is a founding member and serves as the President for OCDIowa.

Jamie received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her M.A., in Clinical Psychology, from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin while concurrently working at Rogers Behavioral Health in both their OCD Residential and Partial Hospitalization programs. In addition, Jamie has provided in-home therapy for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. She worked at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a time and while there was a part of the first mother-baby perinatal mood disorder program. She has worked in private practice, with specific emphasis on anxiety-related disorders, since 2015.
